Grain Valley’s Softball team is on pace for an amazing year. Currently on a 14 game winning streak and starting off the season very hot with 0 losses. This Monday, September 14, 2026 the softball has just beaten platte county. In previous seasons, the Eagles have gathered 63 wins and a 4th place state title, the Eagles are on track to accomplish another strong season, aiming for their first ever state championship. On this pace, they are headed to an undefeated season. They are currently ranked first in the state and seventh nationally. They are doing great this season, working hard in practice and trying to get better every single day. Day in and day out, they strive to go back to state yet again. They fell short in the final four last year but they have the fire to win it all this year. 

The team has been coached by a great head coach Mr. Courter. He has pushed the girls to work hard and strive for the top this year. He has sparked the fire of this team to not go down without a fight. These girls are scary opponents to face. In their last games against Platte county and Belton they beat both teams ten to zero. They have no thought of stopping. This softball team is an immovable force to be reckoned with. They strike fear into the heart of the opposing teams. They are the Grain Valley softball team.
