Junior Bromlee Cook has been a standout setter since the beginning of her high school career. She got pulled up as a freshman and helped out the team during districts. Ever since then she’s been the starting setter and has been racking up the accolades. She earned herself a Second-Team all conference award for the 2025 season, and a First-Team All-District recognition. She comments on what she does to be so successful and she says, “I have setter training every Saturday and get extra reps in the gym when I have time after practice.” Using these resources has made Bromlee a very effective setter and defensive presence. 

This year she set some goals for herself, “to be a better leader for my teammates, and to run a more diverse offense to make it harder for our oppenents”, says Cook. This year Bromlee also gets the opportunity to be on the volleyball team with her sister, Brynn who is an incoming freshman.

This upcoming weekend the team plays in the annual MoKan tournament playing some of the top teams in Missouri and Kansas. She talks about what she is looking forward to going into the tournament saying, “Good competition, and being able to find what is effective for our team.” The team looks forward to the MoKan tournament and hope to get into the groove and be successful.
