Dawson Head is in his junior year of varsity football for the Eagles. He has been a starter all 3 seasons he's been a part of the team. Carrying on from his transition to running back at the beginning of the season last year, Dawson continues to be the lead running back as he enters the season with Sjoren Ammua right next to him. Throughout the off season Dawson gets his work in by attending after school workouts as well as he goes to Upward Performance. He also runs Track in the spring to keep working on his explosion and his speed. 

In the first game this season against the Ruskin Eagles Dawson head was able to return the opening kickoff for a Touchdown. Then he went on to have 2 rushing TDs and then racked on another TD off a screen pass. Dawson was able to total out with 4 TDs. Then in week 3 against Grain Valley’s rival Fort Osage, he came into this game with a head full of steam because last year he couldn't get it done against Fort and they lost the game. He was ready to flip the score this year and he did just that. During the game Dawson had a couple good breakout plays like he broke a run for 49 yards in a crucial moment of the game to give the Eagles a boost of momentum and ultimately kept his head down and ran hard and they were able to win the game 20-15.
