About Cross Country
Cross country is a fall sport offered at the high school level that welcomes a wide range of skill levels and experience. As a co-ed sport, both boys and girls practice and compete together as part of a supportive team environment. There are no tryouts, and the coaching staff is experienced in working with students who are brand new to running as well as those with a competitive background. Cross country focuses on more than just physical fitness—it emphasizes personal growth, academic responsibility, and strong team relationships. Students are expected to bring running shoes, a water bottle, and a change of clothes for practice. The season runs from August through early November, and the full schedule is available online.
